Connect with leaders from across the sector when you have an interest and a willingness to engage around a specific policy issue, to bring or develop your policy expertise, or to work to advance a policy goal or to help build policy capacity within the sport and physical activity sector.

Don’t feel that you need to be an expert to contribute, we encourage all members of the sector with an interest or passion in this area to get involved with the policy communities in which they are interested. Some examples of key policy areas that SMG is involved in are the renewal of the Canadian Sport Policy and the obesity/physical inactivity issue.
