SMG contributing to National Dialogue on Screening Volunteers

SMG will be contributing to the National Dialogue on Screening Volunteers on Monday Nov. 28th, 2011 in Ottawa. The sport & physical activity sector is very interested in this issue, given that coaches, instructors and  others must undergo screening in order to volunteer. We want to encourage more volunteerism in our sector by reducing administrative barriers to participation through a more streamlined screening process.
