Why does Sport...Matter to you?
Think! Tank is the place to come to if you have new and provocative ideas to share. In the Think! Tank, all comers provide a new take on sport in Canada. It is here that we ask, what if...?
In Think!Tank you can throw off long-held assumptions and posit revolutionary thoughts about changing sport in Canada. Or, you can capture an anecdote or experience from your neck of the woods to share with other leaders in sport.
As a jump start to your thoughts, check out a provocative discussion on the intersection of sport with new business models. Paul Jurbala and Guy Bradbury shout out "Get Connected, Sport!" and then kick around words, such as, "best practices", consumer, value, quality, and competition in how 'we' deliver sport programs.
Next, the Sport Matters Working Group has a draft letter to the Secretary of State about "branding" amateur sport in Canada. What do you think?
And finally, Scott Logan pipes in with some concrete solutions for implementing a club system for sport in Canada. This is "no shopping list", but real solutions.
So, what part of Sport...Matters to you?

Throughout my years involved in school including university, sports were always a large part of my curriculum. Our "today" children require training in disipline and leadership. What better way than in sports.
Good luck and good sport.
